Luckyday Residential College

Luckyday Residential College (LRC) has all of the amenities included in our contemporary halls as well as libraries, classrooms, and the RC Marketplace dining facilty. Single-, double-, and quad-occupancy rooms are available in the RCs; singles and quads are reserved for sophomores and upperclassmen. Furniture in resident rooms includes a desk, desk chair, movable dresser, movable nightstand, closet, and twin extra-long or full (select rooms only) bed for each resident.

All residents are required to purchase the RC Unlimited Plus 1 Dining Plan.

Community Info

Our members are:
Recipients of the Luckyday Scholarship and Luckyday Associates (students who are not recipients of the scholarship but who wish to benefit from the many academic, social, and service opportunities available to members).

Our facility has:
24/7 fitness room and study rooms;

Contemporary-style student rooms with in-room bathrooms;
An amazing green space that’s perfect for games & activities;
An all-you-care-to-eat dining commons that’s open every day.

An unparalled university experience to our members through programming, volunteering, partnering with members of the local community, mentoring, and academic encouragement.

Info for freshmen:

When you accept an invitation to join the LRC community you are agreeing to be an active participant of our living-learning community and fulfill certain responsibilities, including, among others, attending at least one LRC faculty-led program per semester, completing three hours of study hall per week, and meeting with an advisor regularly to ensure that you are progressing academically.

Eligible Applicants: Incoming freshmen – current juniors (including transfer students with a minimum of 12 completed semester hours)

The application for 2017-18 is available within the housing application in MyOleMiss from 1:00pm on January 13 through 4:00pm on March 31, 2017.
