Parking and Vehicle Information for Move In
In order to maintain efficient traffic flow, provide room for ingress and egress for emergency vehicles, and make everyone’s move in as easy as possible, we ask that you adhere to the below parking and vehicle policies directly related to move in.
All vehicles must be parked in legal parking spaces. Parking/unloading at building entrances is not allowed. Unload zones are available at a limited number of buildings where space allows during fall move in.
Please visit the Department of Parking & Transportation website for a complete listing of all parking policies.
Visitor parking passes are not required during move in. Residents should park in available residential student parking spaces. Visitors should park at the Ford Center or the Jackson Avenue Center after unloading. The O.U.T. Bus bronze line provides transportation to the center of campus from 7:00am to 7:15pm Monday – Friday beginning August 13.
Visitors and students may not park in faculty/staff parking between the hours of 7:30am and 5:00pm Monday-Friday.
The university reserves the right to remove, impound, or immobilize illegally parked or abandoned vehicles and non-motor vehicles. All vehicles must be parked in available legal spaces.

This includes POD and similar storage containers.
Drivers of vehicles with trailers attached will be directed to park at the Jackson Avenue Center.
Moving trucks are not allowed. Moving vans that fit into our standard parking spaces are allowed.
