Room Change Requests for Current Residents

Room Change Requests for fall semester will be available from September 9, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.  until November 22, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., based on availability.

Room Change Requests for spring semester will be available from February 3, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. or after April 25, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.. This form can be found in the Student Housing Portal. 

Once you’ve submitted the online request, your Community Coordinator or Graduate Community Director will schedule a meeting with you within five business days to discuss your options. 

If you receive approval for a room change, you will be notified via Ole Miss Gmail and will have 48 hours to complete your move. As indicated in your student housing contract, a charge of $100 per day will be assessed for an unauthorized room change and will be retroactively charged based on the date that the move took place, not the date the unauthorized room change was identified by appropriate staff members.
