Students may activate the landlines in the rooms for no charge by contacting the telecommunications department. These lines allow students to make local calls for no charge. Students must provide their own telephones.

If students wish to make long distance calls from the line in the room, a personal long distance code may be set up through telecommunications. Calling cards will also work from these phones.
