If you’re interested in applying for new membership in Luckyday Residential College, please contact Barbra Williams, Luckyday RC Coordinator, at lrc@olemiss.edu prior to applying for student housing. You must be approved for membership in LRC in order to choose a room in LRC in the student housing application. 

Current Residents

If you’re a current member and want live in Luckyday RC in the upcoming academic year, review the information below and complete the process to request renewed membership. Student housing is guaranteed only to freshman and sophomore Luckyday Scholars, who are required to live in LRC. Renewed membership for other members will be based on space availability, GPA, and community involvement. All students interested in returning must complete the form to request membership renewal and, if offered renewed membership, complete the student housing application. Application opens: 9:00am CST on February 4

Application closes: 4:00pm CST on February 28 or when all spaces are taken

Current LRC members must have approval for renewed membership in order to complete student housing application process by choosing a room in the LRC.

Instructions

  1. Log into the student housing portal.
  2. Select the Sophomore & Upperclassman 2019-20 application. 
  3. Complete all tabs, including signing the electronic contract, paying the $75 non-refundable application fee, and selecting a room.
  4. Visit the application confirmation section to confirm your booking.

The $75 application fee is non-refundable, even if you cancel your contract prior to July 1. 

All members will select spaces in double-occupancy rooms. If you are returning member and have applied for a single or quad room, you will be contacted by Barbra Williams once you have completed the application process.

Once you’ve selected a room, you may use the optional room change section in the application to view other spaces available to you and select one of those spaces if you’d like. As long as there are available spaces, you may use the room change section until 4:00pm CDT on July 24. Room changes will next be available after fall semester begins.
