Resident Leadership

Our residents and student staff have many opportunities to develop their leadership skills while serving their residential, campus, local, state, and national communities. Residents may join the Residential Housing Association (RHA), the student-led governing board of our residential communities, which provides members with opportunities for program development, conference attendance, and community service. Elected community council members serve within RHA to represent the specific interests of their
respective communities. Community assistants (CAs) are members of the University of Mississippi Community Assistant Association (UMCAA), which provides opportunities for professional development and networking. Students who are identified as the top 1% of our residential community leadership are invited to join our chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH).
