Located on the terrace next to Hefley Hall, Brown, built in 1961, houses students on four floors. Two furnished lounge areas, a kitchenette, a laundromat, and multiple vending machines are available to residents of Brown. Each room is furnished with built-in dressers with closets, built-in desks, and a twin extra-long bed for each student. Each room also includes a microwave/fridge combo. Ethernet hookups, wireless internet, basic cable, and a phone line that can be activated free of charge are also included in every room. A 24-hour front desk, a community assistant on each floor, a live-in graduate community director, and student ID card readers on all exterior doors make Brown a safe and secure place to live.
