The University of Mississippi

Brown HallBR

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Brown Hall is now available for selection by male residents for Fall 2014.

Any freshman male may select a space in that building when initially selecting a room, and males who have selected bedspaces in other buildings may use Room Swap to search for spaces in that building and select one, if desired. Both Room Selection and Room Swap are located within the housing application in MyOleMiss.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT USING ROOM SWAP: Using Room Swap separates you from your current roommate. If you wish to live with that person in a different room or building, then both of you must move yourselves into new spaces. Students assume the risk of being separated from their currently matched roommates if the room swap is not coordinated between the two students.

STUDENT HOUSING WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RECONNECTING ROOMMATES WHO UTILIZE THE ROOM SWAP FUNCTION.

Please note that if Brown Hall does not fill, the Department of Student Housing reserves the right, per your housing contract, to consolidate students onto the lowest floors possible. As a result, the room that you choose may not be the room you move into for the fall. A notice via Ole Miss Gmail will be sent to all student whose assignments are changed due to consolidation.
