General Info

Construction staff begin noise-producing work only after 9:00am when residents are in the building. Work ceases at 5:00pm each day.

No construction work is scheduled during the weeks of final exams.

All construction staff wear uniforms and ID name badges and have passed background checks.

Building: Kincannon HallKC e lock

Project: Door and lock replacement on student rooms to allow ID entry

Project Start: July

Project End: August 8


  • Upon completion, Kincannon residents will enjoy student ID entry to their rooms.
  • Project will be completed while there are no residents in the building.




Project: Elevator replacement

Project Start: April 1

Project End: Spring semester 2015


  • Upon completion, Stockard residents will enjoy a more efficient elevator system.
  • Two out of three elevators will remain operational throughout all phases of the project.



Building: New Building at Northgate (*Check out our progress!)

Project: Construction of a new contemporary-style residence hall

Project Start: Fall 2014

Project End: Summer 2015


  • Similar in structure and layout to Burns, Minor, and Ridge North, this new residence hall will feature in-room bathrooms, study rooms, lounges, and other amenities
  • Will open for Fall 2015
