Application Info for Current RCS Members
Students who are interested in returning to Residential College South for the 2017-2018 academic year should review the information below and complete the process to request housing in RC South. Please keep in mind that current members are not guaranteed housing. The offer to return will be based on space availability, GPA, and community involvement. All students interested in returning must complete an Intent to Return Form and, if offered renewed membership, complete the housing application in MyOleMiss. Intent to Return Form
You must submit the Residential College South Intent to Return form to be considered for renewed membership.
Form Available: 9:00am on January 23, 2017
Deadline to Submit Form: 4:00pm on January 31, 2017
Form Review: February 1-8, 2017
Membership Renewal Offer Emails Issued via Ole Miss Gmail: February 9, 2017

Application & Room Selection Info
Application open: 9:00am on February 21 – 4:00pm on March 3, 2017 (or until all bedspaces are reserved)
Current Residential College South members who have been approved to return to RC South for the Fall 2017/Spring 2018 academic year will be able to log into MyOleMiss to complete the returning student housing application and select their bedspaces in RC South.
You must have completed the Intent to Return form online and have your membership renewed in order to have access the online student housing application.
Please see the detailed instructions below:
- Log into MyOleMiss, and select Housing Application (under Student Housing).
- Select the Sophomore & Upperclassman 17-18 application. You will not be able to view this application if you do not have an approved Intent to Return Form.
- Complete all tabs, including signing the electronic contract, paying the $75 non-refundable application fee, and, finally, selecting a bedspace.
The $75 application fee is non-refundable, even if you cancel your contract prior to July 1, 2017. Please be aware that failure to pay off the application fee that was posted to your bursar account may affect your ability to register for Fall 2017 or result in a hold placed on your Fall 2017 schedule.
All returning residents will select bedspaces from double-occupancy rooms with their preferred roommates. If you have requested a single or quad space, you will be contacted by Sue Gauthier directly once you have completed the application process.
After completing all steps of the application process, visit the Application Confirmation section to confirm your booking.
As students participate in room selection, availability of buildings and rooms changes frequently. If you would like a space other than the one you have selected, you may use the Room Swap function in the housing application to view available spaces and select a new one. Room Swap is available until the application closes. The next available opportunity to change bedspaces will be during room changes after the semester begins.
